The Altamira Ranch residence occupies just at 20 acres of beautiful coastal views. The designer, Marmol Radziner created this project as four separate buildings; a main house, a study, a guest house and the garage. When building this magnificent home, they took great care to make sure not to disturb the land anymore than necessary.
Description from the architects: "The subterranean garage and partially buried main house seem to emerge from the ground as the land slopes toward the ocean. Not only did submerging the buildings reduce the amount of site work required, it also preserved the ocean view for the surrounding neighborhood."
