The Northern Club was founded by a group of prominent professionals and business men in 1867 when gentleman's clubs were at their peak in the British Empire. A high-rise in it's time, it was originally designed as a hotel and was later on sold at land sale in 1841, and today sits as the Wintergarden. Not only is the Wintergarden a gorgeous feat of beauty and design, it also compliments the existing spaces provided by the masonry construction of it's heritage; a perfect blur between the past and the current.
